FestForge Adds Manual Festival Picks, Animated Route Maps and Richer Run Sharing
FestForge has rolled out a broad set of updates designed to make festival planning feel more practical, visual and flexible for filmmakers managing a real submission run.
The biggest strategy update is the new Add festival flow. Users can now manually add a festival to an existing strategy run by searching the FestForge festival database. If the festival is found, it can be added directly to the run and is clearly marked as user added. If it is not in the database, the app prompts users to contact FestForge and request a festival entry, keeping strategy plans tied to verified festival data rather than free-text guesses.
The festival map experience has also had a major upgrade. Recent changes added an animated festival run map, smoother route movement, zooming camera behaviour, active festival labels, cleaner route lines and better world-map fitting. Users can now view their festival journey as a more polished visual route, with improvements that keep the map readable across different screen sizes and export formats.
FestForge has also expanded the share and export side of the product. Festival run social exports now include stronger layout polish, optional festival name display, route statistics and improved map outlines. These updates make it easier for filmmakers to turn their festival progress into a clean, shareable visual asset.
Other recent improvements include better mobile browsing layouts, a dashboard news preview, an RSS-powered news hub, improved public news filtering, stronger screener controls, viewer stats drilldowns and account/billing fixes. Together, the updates move FestForge closer to being a full working cockpit for festival strategy: plan the run, adjust it manually, track progress, share the journey and keep up with festival news from one place.
